“The Bee A Time Keeper® clock is, simply put, the perfect foundation for teaching little brains to connect to the function of an analog clock. In my decades of work teaching executive functioning skills, I know the analog clock is an essential tool to support people with time awareness and time management. I'm getting at least three of them: one for my grandson, one for his play school and one for my house for those grandchild sleepovers.”
“The Bee A Time Keeper®, is more than a clock. It is a curriculum that introduces the young brain to time. As an early childhood educator I use this clock in my classroom. My students are drawn to it and love that it is placed at their eye level and they can hold it. The Bee a Time Keeper holds the children's attention and generates curiosity. The bright characters act as friendly markers for daily events such as outdoor playtime, snack breaks, and dismissal time. This clock should be a part of every young learner's environment.”
“The Bee-A-Time-Keeper® Clock is my favorite tool to use in my kindergarten classroom from day 1. It helps anxious and confused 5 year olds make sense of their new long days as kindergartners, giving them a visual frame of reference to keep track of their day. For each chunk of my day, I give my students a “time tip” so they know how much time they have for each activity. For example, I tell my students you can eat snacks until the bee gets to the caterpillar. Soon I have students keeping time on their own and helping other students transition to the next activity. They actually keep me on track now! This is so much easier than providing one of those visual timers that disappear (because there is no frame of reference) or telling young students that they have '5 more minutes'. This has been the best tool to help my young students regulate themselves through the many transitions in our schedule.”
“We bought this clock to go along with the book, Kodi’s Adventures: How I Learned to Defeat the Time Snatcher by the same creator. I'm really excited to use it! ... Purchased for my age 6, but we'll see if we end up all referring to it together! Will follow the tips in the included sheet to put it up somewhere eye level for them both. Thanks for creating this, Mindy!”
“This clock is genius for all kids but especially for those who struggle with executive functioning skills. Right away my son has gotten better with transitions and becoming more independent with finishing daily tasks related to his every day routines. I want one in every room of the house and every elementary school classroom in America! Such a small investment for such big results.”
“This clock has been helpful for my children, those who read time and those who don't, to understand time's passage and how long they have to accomplish a task. It's working better than my usual timer setting!”
